What’s Going On Inside Atlanta DSA?
I want to give a very brief thoughts about Atlanta’s political organizing circles.
A handful of people have asked me about the internal politics of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) – and given the history, should you join?
You could. I rejoined recently and there’s a convention coming up.
Why Talk About This Now?
Actually, why talk about this ever? Well, my honest “become a socialist” testimony would now, talk about purges, loyalty oaths, discrimination, racial and gender quotas, too much of the word BIPOC.

They had a very positive perspective. I talked to a few members and found stories that reflected my own experiences years ago.

This was a tough job, because it’s hard to convince people to care about efficiency and time UNTIL there’s some big crisis.
