It’s hard to imagine a job or experience more rewarding than this one – it represents kind of an ideal to me! It’s a unique product with an obvious utility, a great urgency, and it ties into tons of emotions – our desire to have a better life for our kids, the constantly rising stresses and standards in hockey, and the brutal expectations society puts on girls in general.

Getting into college is already hard, but getting a scholarship in women’s hockey requires a ton of labor on top of the already hard work of getting up to play from day to day. It’s also prep work that has to start well in advance. Jaclyn has an incredible advantage as someone who can be a mentor to both girls and parents. Her voice is incredible and so is her mission.
