It’s annoying to look around a project and see that you’ve rebuilt a certain piece of a project over and over again, or that you’ve said the same thing a few times. Looking back at your old creative work can be gratifying – yay I did all this, but it’s also very frustrating, like you’re walking round in circles – especially when you’re looking back at your key insights.

However I look at it as a positive. Dan Kennedy says “repetition makes reputation” and it’s pretty we. Most people don’t see or hear your message the first, second or third time. It’s easy to have the “curse of knowledge” and treat your own hard earned insight as boring!

Since I’m spending more time writing fiction and getting into publishing (at least that’s what I’d LIKE to do), I want to spend more time getting my notes into a publishing ready state. You’ll probably see me do more on draft to digital, have small books available for purchase, et cetera.

Never get bored with yourself. Repetition builds equity. 🙂
